Bara Pathar


Everyone who comes to Nainital makes sure to visit Bara Pathar. Visitors can enjoy a ride on the back of a horse and it is one of the major tourist attractions of the city. Since the High Court has banned horse riding anywhere in Nainital, one must come to Bara Pathar for a horse ride. The bus service will bring you here and then you can hire a horse from the stop. Also, there is a rock climbing spot just behind Bara Patar. This will increase your adrenaline rush and give you the sense of adventurism that you have always wanted. It is a very demanding sport and will test you both physically and mentally.

Nakuldhara Cave Garden


Located along the Kaldungi Road in Mallital, the Eco cave Garden is actually a natural park under the local administration of Nainital. After climbing a few steps towards the gate you will enter the cave which is a collection of rocky caves and around it are many hanging gardens. It is the epitome of the wild jungle and hills of Nainital. It has a total of six caves namely squirrel cave, bat cave, panther cave, ape cave, tiger cave and flying fox cave. The musical fountain is a spectacle to watch in the evenings. Mainly suited for children, this place will be enjoyed by the whole family. It is a wonderful labyrinth and you will be amazed at the extent to which one can get lost in the depth of this cave. At the end of the trip, one can relax in the garden and enjoy the nature around him.

Lake View Point


On the way to Kilbury, at an astounding height of 2300 mts is located the beautiful place called Kilbury. From this spot one can have a look at the valleys of Nainital and also the never ending Himalayan range. Enjoying some moment of solitude is the best one can do here and immerse in the beauty of god’s nature. It is at a distance of 5 kilometres from Nainital.

Kilbury


Famous for its natural beauty, Kilbury lies at a distance of 12 km from the hustle of Nainital. It is an ideal picnic spot for a family, and one can enjoy a small meal while admiring the majestic Himalayas. At 2528 mts above sea level this place can be easily reached via road. The place is filled with oak trees, rhododendrons and pine forests, so watch out for them. Visitors can even stay at the forest rest house available here.

Land's End


At a small distance of just 4 kms from the town lies Land's End. It gives you a panoramic view of the plains and the verdant valley. One will be amazed to see the lush green hills that surround the city. As signified by the name, the place gives you the feeling as if you are at the end of earth. This will be a big break from the mundane daily life and you will love the view of the Khurpatal Lake you get from here.

Lovers Point


On top of one of the many hills near the beautiful eye shaped Naini Lake is the lovers point. The bus will drop you here and after a small walk through the rocky road one can see the railing that is meant to guard the people coming over here. Many lovers come over here and many of them also commit suicide, thus giving it the name suicide point. Nevertheless this place is still filed with visitors who come here to have a look at the breath taking view of the city from here.

Formed in 1988 they were earlier known as Bahndari Bus Service. They have the largest bus fleet in Nainital.

Tour Plan: The bus from Darshan Travels will start the journey from the bus stand and move on to Bara-Patthar, Land’s End, Tanki Bend, Nakul-dhar eco cave garden and the back to Nainital.
